Watch Atlas Robot Show Off Skills Including Backflip [VIDEO]

Atlas is the latest in a line of advanced humanoid robots developed by Boston Dynamics.

According to BD's website, Atlas' control system coordinates motions of the arms, torso and legs to achieve whole-body mobile manipulation, greatly expanding its reach and workspace. Atlas is considered the world's most dynamic humanoid.

It's so funny when you look at the comments on their YouTube video which is posted above. People are so in fear of robots taking over the world like we've seen in movies time and time again. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's not something we'll ever see in our lifetime and I highly doubt it's something that will ever happen.

Technology is amazing and watching Atlas do a backflip is freaking cool as hell.
