World’s Largest Powerhouse Gym Set to Open in Michigan in 2025

Does the biggest gym necessarily mean it's the best? Residents of Macomb County are about to find out when the world's largest Powerhouse Gym opens in 2025.

Did you know Powerhouse Gym was founded in Michigan? Brothers William and Norman Dabish opened the first Powerhouse Gym in Highland Park in 1974. At the time, the gym was nothing more than a place for people in the neighborhood to exercise. They promoted the gym as a place you could go for boxing, bodybuilding, karate, and kung fu.

Powerhouse Gym eventually became much more than just a neighborhood workout facility, including a training place for professional athletes. Now, it's one of the most well-known health club organizations in the world.

Powerhouse Gym has 300 locations in 39 states and has expanded into 20 countries worldwide.

Powerhouse Gym is set to make a big mark in its home state by opening what will be the world's largest gym in Clinton Township.

Where Will the World's Largest Powerhouse Gym Be Located?

According to MLive, Powerhouse Gym will open its largest location at The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township in Macomb County.

How Big Will the Powerhouse Gym Be?

Once renovations are complete, Michigan's new Powerhouse Gym will be 120,000 square feet, making it the largest one on the planet.

The new location is expected to open in early 2025.
