UPDATE: Body of Missing Lansing 2-Year-Old Believed to be Found

A body believed to be missing 2-year-old Wynter Cole Smith has been found on Detroit’s east side, Fox 2 Detroit is reporting Wednesday evening,
The location is near Knodell and Erwin streets east of Van Dyke and north of Harper.
UPDATE: As of Wednesday, July 5, Two-year-old Wynter Smith is still missing from the Lansing area. Search efforts are continuing, including drones, boats, and canines.
The man accused of her kidnapping, Rashad Trice, is in custody.
According to WXYZ, Wynter’s mother was stabbed on Sunday night shortly before Wynter was kidnapped by Trice, her mother's ex-boyfriend.
The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone with information that will help get Wynter safely home.
ORIGNAL STORY 4/3: As of Monday morning, July 3, 2023, two-year-old Wynter Smith is still missing from the Lansing area.
Wynter was last seen with 26-year-old Rashad Trice July 2nd around 11:30 p.m. on the south side of Lansing in a 2013 white Chevrolet Impala.
Trice, who has been accused of her kidnapping, has since been arrested in St. Clair Shores, Mich.
Police believe Wynter may be in the Metro Detroit Area.
She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with rainbows and had braided shoulder-length hair.
