Flint Town Throwdown Goes Live at The Machine Shop This Friday
This Friday (April 5th) the Banana will host a show featuring your favorite local bands — Autumn Coma, BulletProof, Crackjaw and The Product — as we bring the Flint Town Throwdown live to The Machine Shop. The best part – tickets are only $5 at the door!
After the Local Band of the Year voting ended, four bands stood clearly above the rest. You voted for your favorite area rock bands, so we listened and decided to bring them all together for one night only at The Machine Shop. Headlining this incredible night of music will be the band you elected as the Throwdown Band of the Year, Flint’s own Autumn Coma. They’ll be joined by three of the Detroit-area’s most kick-ass bands — BulletProof, CrackJaw and The Product for one killer night of homegrown hard-hitting rock.
Tree, host of Banana 101.5’s local rock show The Flint Town Throwdown, will be on hand broadcasting live with the Banana Crew for this low dough show… that’s right, low dough. That means $5 at the door if you’re 21 and over and $8 if you’re between 18 and 20.
If you’re unfamiliar with just how talented these four bands are, be sure to tune in at 10p all this week to hear new music from CrackJaw (Tues), The Product (Weds), BulletProof (Thurs) and, of course, we’ll be rocking Autumn Coma’s ‘Manipura’ on Friday.
A lot of people talk s— about supporting local rock, well this Friday is the night to put your money where your mouth is. Come out, have some beers and enjoy some kick ass music with the Banana. As far as local band lineups go, they don’t get much better than this.
