20,000 Bouncy Balls Dropped From Helicopter [VIDEO]

Utah State University is having it's "Geek Week" and somehow decided that dropping 20,000 bouncy balls from a helicopter is geeky and educational.  I guess, but either way, it looks pretty sweet.

I'm tempted to make a Chris Monroe joke with all the balls falling out of the sky, but I won't go there.  I will say that people in Utah are pretty nerdy looking.  And how exactly is this a science project?
