$2M Price Drop: Strange, Unfinished Home on Torch Lake Now $5M
Check out the update to this strange unfinished home on Torch Lake.
Torch Lake is one of the most beautiful places in Michigan. Owning a home on the shore would be amazing and you could do just that with this home. This unfinished home was on the market in January for $7 million, but now will only set you back $5 million.
If you check out the updated picture above, you can see a side by side of what it is now and what it could look when done. The updated add on Zillow states that the copper roof is currently being installed.
According to Zillow, this home has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and is 3,449 square feet. However, you could probably adjust that a little seeing as how it is still in the building phase.
For the most part, the house has a lot of potential in becoming something super cool. On the other hand, it looks like the designer of the home was on a serious acid trip while watching kids' movies and working on the blueprints.
No matter what you feel about the way it looks, it sits on an amazing piece of land. The beach and patio area looks like a great spot to sit back and have a few cold cocktails on a hot summer day.
After looking at this house though, I have a lot of questions. What were they thinking? Why did they stop? What does it look like on the inside? What do the neighbors think? Where can I get that kind of ef you money so I can start and abandon projects like this?
I really wish there were pictures of the inside of the house, but unfortunately, there are not. We will just have to try and imagine what's in there based on what the outside looks like. Check out the photos below.
