OK— so the headline is a little misleading, sue me.

Although it's not the Detroit Lions quarterback, you really can adopt a new friend named Goff. He's a two-year-old donkey gelding (that means fixed male for those of you who don't know) and he is available at Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary.

Adorably enough, he came to the rescue with the rest of the Detroit Lions pride as well.

According to the rescue's Facebook page, Goff and his buddies were rescued from auction. Goff came in with seven other donkeys that ended up being named after some Detroit Lions 2023 season favorites— Campbell, Hutch, St. Brown, Ragnow, Gibbs, Monty, and LaPorta.

Sadly, Goff is the only one left of the bunch that has not yet been adopted. His adoption fee is $1,500.

Per the sanctuary's website

Goff is gentle, with an easy going temperament. He loves cookies and gentle scratches

How cute. I'd describe the Lions QB in the same way, minus the cookies and scratches. I know a lot about Jared Goff— but not that much.

Apply for Goff here!

If you don't have the room for a donkey of your own, that's alright, you can still help out Goff for his remainder of his time at Starry Skies. They have a donation link you can find here.

The Sanctuary is completely volunteer-run and is located in Ann Arbor. All donations go straight back to the horses (and donkey).

Maybe Jared Goff can add him to the family and he can live here? He has plenty of space!

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff's $10.5M Mansion

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has a new pad and it is fabulous. The $10.5 million estate is located in Manhattan Beach, California, and it is nothing short of stunning.

The five-bedroom mansion was once owned by Shaquille O'Neal and 'Modern Family' Executive Producer Danny Zuker.
