The other night I couldn't believe what I was seeing, so I got out my phone and took a video. Even now, I'm still not sure what the hell was going on, but it certainly appeared to be snowing in Flint, Michigan... in June.

I'm no weather expert. In fact, I don't consider myself an expert in many categories, but I have lived in Michigan for a long time. I've seen all sorts of weather, but I'm not sure I've ever seen what I captured on video the other night. Let me set the scene for you.

Sunday morning (around 3:30a) the wife and I were out on our screened-in back porch, when I decided to go "water the bushes" out back. It had just begun lightly sprinkling out, but a little rain doesn't bother me. When I opened the screen door and the motion light kicked on -- I did a double take. Not only could I see the rain, but there was this other stuff that was lighter than the rain, falling from the sky in a very familiar pattern -- like snow would.

I was so confused, because it was 63° and could not really be snow, but that's what it looked like. I took several brief videos for the sole purpose of posting here in the hopes someone could tell me WTF is going on. It should be noted that these were not bugs flying around and the video doesn't really do it justice -- it was actually kind of mesmerizing. Standing there staring at it, I felt like that weird kid from 'American Beauty" who kept talking about how that dumb plastic bag was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. Please feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and that "it was ______, not snow" in the comments, but, like, you weren't there, man.
