After a hard fought battle with listener favorites Five Finger Death Punch and Pop Evil, our friends Evans Blue emerged victorious with their new track 'This Time It's Different.' The song is from their forthcoming new album, which is the second featuring vocalist Dan Chandler and the first featuring new drummer Mike McClure. We had a chance to hear some of the new tunes recently when E|B played this year's Binge Before Christmas and it sounds like this record is gonna be an ass-kicker for sure. The currently untitled album is expected for release in the next couple of months.

Thanks to their relentless army of fans, a write-in nomination for 'Until We Have Faces' from Red ended up leading to a victory over rock giants like Foo Fighters and Seether. Red jumped out to any early lead that fellow write-in nominees and surprise front-runners Blue October and Fair to Midland could not overcome. 'Until We Have Faces' is the band's third full-length record and they will hit the road in February for 'The Redvolution Tour' with Thousand Foot Krutch.
