You say Bay City Pig Gig, but organizers are calling the 2022 revival of this fan-favorite event - Labadie Rib Fest. I will call it whatever they want, ribs are still the main focus and that is what I care about.

Labadie Rib Fest Facebook

According to the official event Facebook page, the Labadie Rib Fest is a volunteer-operated event with proceeds going to local charities. The festival is currently looking for local charities and community groups that can provide volunteers in exchange for exposure and/or a momentary donation. Volunteers will handle operations like trash removal, ticket taking, VIP tent food service, and more. If that sounds like something you are interested in, just email for details.

It has been 10 years since the last Pig Gig. As you can imagine this event brings people from all over to Bay City. I for one am super excited to see it return, even under a new name. I look forward to seeing you at the Labadie Rib Fest in July.
