Trailer rock aficionados Buckcherry are preparing to hit the road to perform alongside their friends in Papa Roach and others for the Rock Allegiance Tour. According to the band that's not the only endeavor they have penciled in on this year's schedule.

Buckcherry's last album 'All Night Long' may have hit store shelves less than a year ago, but the band revealed in a recent interview that the song writing for their next release is already underway. Singer Josh Todd told EspyRock:

"Things are coming along good, we’re having fun and we’ve got around five demo’s mopped up...but it’s still very early and we need to get everyone in a room and just jam."

Guitarist Keith Nelson hinted that the band may venture outside of the usual party-rock territory adding:

"Without saying too much, I just think the pervasive feeling of the stuff we’re coming up with, we’re just trying to come out of our comfort zone a little bit. Really trying to push the envelope without getting away from the sound that you and love of this band but I think we’re going to try to push the envelope and go for something cool and different."

Keith added that their sixth full length album and follow up to 2010's 'All Night Long' will probably see a release in spring of 2012.
