It feels like Court Street is finally coming back to life with a bunch of new stores opening at The Courtyard Shopping Center in Burton.

For a while there, it felt like that shopping plaza was going to sit vacant forever, but places like Burlington, Michaels, Five Below, and Harbor Freight have changed that. They’ve all opened in the past year and really started to breathe some life back into the plaza.

Well, get ready, because a familiar Burton store is about to join the lineup.

In fact, one of the last remaining shops inside Courtland Center is packing up and moving across the street to its new home at The Courtyard. And let’s be real, that move is only going to hurt Courtland Center even more since it is already looking pretty empty these days.

According to MLive, the company recently submitted its site plan for the empty space. Since no major construction is happening outside, the process is just a quick administrative review instead of a full-blown planning project.
