Burton Goodwill Grand Opening Set for Tomorrow

A brand-new Goodwill store is set to officially open in Burton tomorrow, Friday, April 10, 2026, giving shoppers a fresh new spot to take advantage of deals and bargains.

Anticipation has been high for Genesee County's newest Goodwill, and chances are there will be a line out the door, and for good reason.

The first 25 people in line at 8:45 AM tomorrow will score prizes that include the following,

• Gift Bags
• Goodwill Gift Card

The store will officially open at 9:00 AM.

Where is the new Goodwill in Burton located?

Goodwill is located at 4095 East Court Street. You may remember the building as a former Art Van store.

Another great thing about Goodwill stores is that the inventory is constantly changing. When you are ready to get rid of certain items, Goodwill Industries is ready and willing to accept donations.

However, before loading up the car, remember that Goodwill Industries of Mid Michigan does not accept certain items, including (but not limited to) mattresses, hazardous materials, large appliances, and broken or unsafe items.
