Bye Girl – Wendy’s On Bristol Road In Burton Closes

Wendy has left the building.

The Wendy's fast food restaurant on Bristol Road (next door to Tim Horton's) has permanently closed. Much of the signage has been stripped down except for a sign on the now-empty building.

The drive-thru sign is empty and two signs on two drive-thru windows read as follows,

I had no idea this particular location had closed until I saw the news posted on Burton City Chat Facebook page last night.

As with any post on social media, reactions were mixed. Regardless if you liked the fast food restaurant or not, people lost jobs and that always sucks.

If you are a fan of Wendy's, there is another location in Burton on Belsay Road. There are also Wendy's locations in Flint on East Hill Road and Corunna Road and on Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc. To find a Wendy's location nearest you, click here.

As far as why this particular location closed its doors, I do not know. Maybe two locations in Burton were one too many? It will be interesting to see what opens in its place.
