And the sign says, 'closed'.

Angelo's Coney Island Palace just off Grand Blanc Road in Grand Blanc has permanently closed its doors.

I had no idea the business closed until I drove by the former restaurant last night. After doing some detective work (looking at Angelo's Facebook page), I found out Angelo's has been closed since November 16th.

I have yet to find an exact reason for the closing, and from what I read on Facebook, the spot will be missed. If you have always dreamed of opening your own restaurant, the building is currently for sale and or lease. The exact street address is 7500 Grand Parkway.

Here is to hoping that someone is able to take over this space and possibly bring something new to the area - or perhaps keep the coney tradition alive here. The location is ideal for travelers on US-23 and great for early morning breakfasts, late-night eating, and everything in between.

It is always a bummer to see a local business close, and I certainly hope all of the former employees have found jobs elsewhere. Let me know if you buy or lease this space - I would be more than happy to spread the word about your new adventure.
