Are Chick-fil-A Vending Machines Coming to Michigan?
I feel like I’m the only person on the planet who still hasn’t tried Chick-fil-A. Meanwhile, everyone else in Michigan treats every new location like it’s the second coming of chicken sandwiches. So I’d have to imagine they’ll be equally excited about the concept of a Chick-fil-A vending machine.
Yup, you read that right. Chick-fil-A just rolled out its very first vending machine. It’s a temperature-controlled setup that serves fresh wraps and waffle chips straight from a fridge, 24 hours a day. Well, almost 24 hours. Just like their restaurants, this thing shuts down on Sundays. I’ve never really understood that because, well, people do eat on Sundays.
Are Chick-fil-A Vending Machines Coming to Michigan?
Right now, there’s only one of these machines in the entire country, and it’s tucked away inside a hospital in Augusta, Georgia. It’s basically a test run to see if people are cool with grabbing their chicken fix from a vending machine instead of the drive-thru.

If it does well, it’s not hard to imagine Chick-fil-A expanding the idea to other states. Michigan would be a perfect fit, especially in spots like airports, hospitals, or college campuses, where people are always on the go.
I’m not a fan of fast food, so I have a hard time imagining ordering chicken from a vending machine. Nothing about that sounds healthy to me, which, of course, it’s not. Still, you have to admit, it’s a pretty wild idea.

I can’t imagine this not being a hit with customers who just can’t get enough. I bet we’ll eventually see Chick-fil-A vending machines everywhere.
