It’s Official: Chipotle Mexican Grill IS Coming to Grand Blanc

Grand Blanc residents will no longer have to drive to Miller Road in Flint to get their Chipotle fix as a new location is set to open soon.

Grand Blanc residents have heard rumors of Chipotle coming to town for years. Well, now it's official.

Back in 2022, we shared plans for a new Chipotle on the corner of Saginaw Street and Bush Avenue, in the vacant lot next to Rite Aid. The proposal included a 2,300-square-foot building, but it never came to fruition for some reason. Then we heard rumors that Chipotle was coming to Grand Blanc Marketplace near the intersection of Saginaw Road and Bella Vista Drive. We didn't feel confident that it would actually happen until Grand Blanc city officials verified the submission of plans back in April of this year.

If you've been by Grand Blanc Marketplace lately, you've probably noticed that there is a Chipotle Mexican Grill sign on the door. While the sign doesn't mention when Chipotle will officially open, one person on the Grand Blanc Residents Uncensored Facebook page said that it was opening in October.

Chipotle will join other businesses in the new plaza including Jersey Mike's. Starbucks, Athletico physical therapy, Lencrafters, and Smoothie King. The Grand Blanc Marketplace is also home to Wingstop which is scheduled to open on August 26.

There are so many great things happening in Grand Blanc right now. We have more food options than ever before.
