Clio Dairy Queen Raised Over $130,000 for Hurley Children’s Hospital [VIDEO]
A little more faith in humanity has been restored thanks to Dairy Queen in Clio. Nice work!
Steve and Charron Hughes are owners of Dairy Queen Fanchise stores in Clio and Birch Run. Lately, they have been on a mission to raise money to help the Hurley Children's Hospital. With their hard work, they were able to collect $138,000+ to give to the hospital.
Those donation dollars are going to help a lot of children in need. Now many of the children will be able to get items to help them understand their procedures better and feel more "normal" in their health struggles. The money will also be used to put a DVD player in every pediatric room and add an interactive gaming system to the floor.
If you want to help and make a donation, tomorrow is Miracle Treat Day at participating Dairy Queens in the area. A portion of every Blizzard sold will be donated to Hurley Children's Hospital. So go get a Blizzard tomorrow at the following locations:
- Burton
- Birch Run
- Caro
- Clio
- Grand Blanc
- Rose City
- West Branch
