Despite the forecast calling for thunderstorms in much of Michigan this weekend, we might get lucky and have a few hours to hit the beach. Always be sure to check and see if your favorite beach is actually open before you pack up and head out. Weather and contamination advisories can change at a moment's notice in Michigan.
With over 1,000 beaches in the state, there is no shortage of fun in the sun. However, some Michigan beaches just always seem to be closed or have contamination warnings. Check out the list below of Michigan beaches that are closed or have advisories.
