Detroit Auto Shop Is Robbed Repeatedly And Owner Says Police Don’t Care [VIDEO]
This place has been broken into four times in one week with the owner suffering losses of over $22,000.
Romani Youssif, whose family owns SRC Auto Repair on Detroit's east side, is upset because beyond the losses that his business has suffered, he says the Detroit Police Department is not doing anything to help him. According to FOX 2 Detroit, he claims he's filled out three separate police reports, and a neighbor who watched the crime happen called 911, but he was told the department couldn't send anyone to his shop.
DPD Assistant Cheif James White told FOX 2 Detroit that there was never a 911 call made. He also said that there are records of Youssif's reports that the detective never followed up on which is unacceptable, and he plans on dealing with that today (Tuesday).
