The Detroit Bourbon and Blues Festival is happening this weekend at the Eastern Market. It's a day packed with great bourbon and whiskey tastings, delicious food, live music, and plenty of fun.

When is the Detroit Bourbon & Blues Festival?

The festival is this Sunday, August 23, 2026. The event will be held in Shed 5 at the Eastern Market, 2810 Russell Street in Detroit. Hours are noon to 7:00 PM.

There is a little confusion regarding the start time for the Detroit Bourbon and Blues Festival. While the festival website lists noon as the event start time, VIP ticket holders can enter beginning at 1:00 PM, while general admission ticket holders will be allowed in starting at 2:00 PM.

Tickets start at $23. VIP tickets are also available for $76 and include early entry, 15 tasting tickets, a commemorative glass, a tote bag, one food truck voucher, and chocolates. Event tickets can be purchased here.

What bands are playing at the Detroit Bourbon & Blues Festival?

The line-up is as follows,

  • Rome Antenucci 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
  • Freestyle Band 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM
  • Shauan Booker Dammit Band 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

The event will also include food trucks, bar supplies, local vendors, and whiskey-themed art.
