Four brothers in Detroit are being hailed as heroes after bravely rescuing two toddlers who climbed onto a neighbor’s roof.

While walking home from a store, the brothers noticed two toddlers, ages one and two, crawling out of a window and onto the roof of their home.

The boys knew right away that those toddlers were in extreme danger, so they jumped into action. According to WDIV, one brother, who was afraid of heights, bravely climbed the ladder anyway and carefully put the kids back inside through the window.

While he was still on the roof, the other brothers knocked on doors and windows to alert someone, but nobody answered. They did see a man peek out of a window, but he didn’t come outside.

Thankfully, the kids weren’t hurt, and the brothers’ quick thinking probably saved their lives. Detroit firefighters eventually showed up and gave the boys credit for stepping in and doing the right thing.

Since then, the story has been picking up steam online, with a lot of people calling the brothers heroes, and yeah, it’s hard to argue with that. Not everyone would’ve noticed what was happening, let alone jumped in like they did.

What’s really bizarre, though, is that we haven’t heard anything about the parents. Nobody answered the door, and besides some guy peeking out of a window, no one seemed concerned.
