This Michigan Water Park Looks Too Awesome to Pass Up This Summer
Located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, this water park is a must before the summer comes to an end.
Michigan isn't really known for its amazing waterparks. Don't get me wrong, we have lots of water parks but only a handful that are really worth checking out. I have a feeling this is one of them.
Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsilanti looks like it's one of the nicer water parks in Michigan.

Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsilanti is a 400 acre park that is open year round from 8 am to dusk. They have a super cool looking water park, 1.8 miles of paved trails, three miles of nature trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, picnic tables and grills located throughout the park.
No, the pool isn't open year round (obviously). They usually have the water park open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Their water park hours are from 12 pm to 7 pm daily.
What Kind of Attractions are in the Water park?
The water park has a giant wave pool, water slides, and a lazy river.
According to the Washtenaw Park & Recs website, the Activity Pool is popular with younger children due to its zero-depth entry, gentle bubbler, geysers, a waterfall and a kiddie slide for children under 45" tall.
You can also chill and relax in their chaise lounges and sand chairs on an extensive sun deck located throughout the water park.
The photo below shows just how beautiful this 400 acre park is. I would love to do some hiking here in the fall, so cool.
You're probably asking, why are they open year round? I couldn't find a lot of info on it but it looks like they have a big hill for tubing and sledding in the winter. Of course, in the spring and fall, you can go hiking or play disc golf.
