Facebook Marketplace is a great platform for Michiganders to buy and sell items, find great deals, and experience the pure satisfaction of having someone pay for an item that might have otherwise ended up in the garbage. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

While you'll undoubtedly come across unique and strange items that people will try to sell, it's important to keep in mind that there are certain items prohibited from being listed.
We sell a variety of things on Marketplace. By "we" I'm really just talking about my wife. It seems like every other day a stranger is standing in my garage buying something she's trying to sell.
Unfortunately, in today's world, some obvious rules still need clarification. For instance, Facebook Marketplace strictly prohibits the buying and selling of weapons, drugs, and sex services. Seriously, do we have to be told this? You would think this was common sense, but here we are.
They actually have to tell people to not buy and sell body parts and fluids. Who the hell would buy someone's body part over a social media platform? I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one.
