80s Prom at The Machine Shop in Flint

One of the most anticipated events in Genesee County is back - the annual 80s Prom at The Machine Shop in Flint.

Get ready for a night of throwback hits as Dr. DeLorean and The Space Invaders take the stage, delivering all your favorite songs from the 1980s.

Expect to hear classics from Duran Duran, Cameo, The Clash, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Prince, Madonna, Donnie Iris, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, U2, Gary Newman, Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits, and much more.

When is the 80s Prom at The Machine Shop?

80s Prom is Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

How much are tickets to the 80s Prom?

Tickets are $15 in advance. Tickets can be purchased across the street from The Machine Shop at Paradise Express in the Dort Mall, or through Etix here.

Do I have to dress up to attend?

Dressing up is highly encouraged, but not required. Guests who go all out in formal prom attire will have the chance to be crowned Prom King or Prom Queen.
