Flint Children’s Museum Is Looking For A New Home

After 30 years on the Kettering campus, the Flint Children's Museum is looking to expand at a new location.

I have always said that the Flint Children's Museum is one of the best hidden gems in Flint. I've spent countless hours inside the museum with my kids, along with their great Easter Egg hunts. Over the years they have done everything possible with their current location to provide a fun, educational place for Genesee County families.

The official announcement of the pending move was made on the Children's Museum facebook page.

So it sounds like there is no definite destination yet, but the move is definitely going to happen. The big question is where do they move?

The comments on the Facebook post are full of suggestions, and I really hope it stays in the city of Flint. My thoughts immediately go to the Flint Cultural Center because there are already so many great things for families to do there.

The one thing that is sure is that no matter where the museum ends up, they will do everything in their power to keep providing an excellent experience for our kids.
