After making a complete mockery of the legal system with his embarrassing courtroom antics -- Eric Mays has been slapped with a jail sentence for his November 2013 drunk driving incident.

Mays initially faced more severe charges, but that case was thrown out because of some BS having to do with him acting as his own attorney. He was tried again in November 2015 and was found guilty on an impaired driving charge.

Today, he was sentenced to 30 days in the Genesee County Jail with two days credit for time served. Mays' request for to turn himself in at a later date was denied, and he was taken in custody.

I guess this means he's really going to have to work extra hard on his presidential campaign when he gets out next month.
