Flint Firebirds’ Postponed and Rescheduled Games This Weekend

Due to COVID reasons, several upcoming Flint Firebirds games have been postponed or rescheduled.

If you planned on making your way to Dort Financial Center to catch the Flint Firebirds in action, you will want to read this. Several upcoming games for the Firebirds have either been postponed or changed.

Friday, January 7th, 2022 VS. London Knights - ***Time Change***

Tonight's game (Friday, 1/7/22) against the London Knights has had a slight time change. The game will start at 7 pm (as opposed to the original puck drop scheduled at 7:30 pm.) This game is set to take place at Budweiser Gardens Arena in London, ON, Canada.

Saturday, January 8th, 2022 - ***Game and Location Change***

Tomorrow night's game was originally a home game scheduled against the London Knights at Dort Financial Center. However, due to COVID-19 protocols, this game has been postponed.

Instead, the Flint Firebirds will hit the road and drive north to Saginaw to take on the Saginaw Spirit at the Dow Event Center. Currently, the Flint Firebirds are up one game against Saginaw in the I-75 Divide Cup Series sponsored by Coors Light. The puck drops at 7:05 pm on Saturday.

OHL games that have been postponed this week due to COVID-19 protocol.

The following games have been postponed across the OHL for COVID-19 protocol reasons:

• January 8th - London Knights @ Flint Firebirds
• January 8th - Sarnia Sting @ Saginaw Spirit
• January 8th - Kitchener Rangers @ Erie Otters
• January 12th - Kitchener Rangers @ Flint Firebirds

All these postponed games will be rescheduled at a later date. Check back often and we will keep you up to date on when and where you can catch the Firebirds in action.
