Flint Firebirds Rebrand as Flint Coneydogs for One Night Only

For one night only, the Flint Firebirds will be known as the Flint Coneydogs.

That’s right, the team will be rebranded to honor a classic Flint food staple, featuring Flint Coney Dogs-themed gear that players will wear during the game and auction off afterward.

The night will also include a coney dog-eating contest on the ice. Here are all the juicy details on this exciting event.

When is Flint Coney Dog Night at the Dort Financial Center?

Game day is Saturday, January 24, 2026, as the Flint Coneydogs (Firebirds) take on the Windsor Spitfires, with puck drop set for 7:00 PM.

How do I enter the coney dog eating contest?

Scan the QR code in the Facebook post below and submit an audition video of one minute or less. Tell the team who you are and why they should pick you. Also include how many coney dogs you think you can eat.

One grand prize coney dog eating champ will win the following prizes,

• Custom Flint Coneydogs Championship Wrestling Belt
• Custom Flint Coneydogs Authentic Jersey

You have until January 18th, 2026, to submit your video. Winners will be contacted on January 19th and receive complimentary game tickets and free parking.
