Flint tattoo artist Kyle Dunbar may not have won the title of "Ink Master" at the end of season 3, but he did win the chance to return and compete in season 4 during the live finale of the Spike TV reality competition.

Kyle kicked some serious ass this season, despite being handed a series of difficult canvasses. However, he got dismissed the episode prior to the finale after choosing to go with an abstract design on his final tattoo. They instead chose to let Tatu Baby move on to the finale, despite the fact that she only did two good tattoos the entire third season (she was much better the prior season).

It all worked out for the best though, as Kyle was given a chance to make it to season 4 by the viewers. Unlike the previous season, the viewers votes brought back two artists to compete live in the finale and the winner of that challenge would get a shot at redemption. Kyle edged out Chris May (also known as that dude that cried before getting eliminated) and will now get another stab at the title of "Ink Master" next season. Until then, you can get inked by him at Almighty Tattoo in Flint.
