Season 12 of Ink Master: Battle of the Sexes is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 11th and this time around the show will feature a tattoo artist from Mid-Michigan.

According to the Lansing State Journal, 26-year-old Cam Pohl of Lansing's Fish Ladder Tattoo Company in Old Town has been selected as one of 18 contestants to appear on the Paramount Network series "Ink Master."

The first episode of season 12 will air on June 11th at 10 pm. Apparently, the show will be a competition between nine men and nine women who will battle it out for the opportunity to win $100,000.

Pohl specializes in multiple tattoo styles including realism, neo-traditional, florals and female faces.

He's not the first Michigander to appear on the show as Flint's Kyle Dunbar was a contestant on the reality show back in 2014. There was lots of drama on the show back then and as you'll see in the video above, not much has changed.

Cam Pohl is well aware of his fate on the show but we'll have to wait until next month when season 12 kicks off.
