Fourth Of July Fireworks Set for Friday Downtown Flint

It's that time of year again! Time to celebrate the red, white, and blue! It's also time for all of the F's - food, family, friends...and fireworks! 

The Flint Downtown Development Authority presents the annual fireworks show, which will begin at dusk Friday, July 1st. In addition to the fireworks, there will be a carnival open to all, in the Flat Lot on Saginaw Street (right in between First and Kersley). According to MLive, the carnival is in it's third year and is presented by MTV Management which is a non-profit organization of alumni of Flint Northwestern High School.
Proceeds will go to charity.

The schedule for the weekend carnival is as follows:

Friday 5 PM - 11 PM
Saturday 12 Noon - 11 PM
Sunday 1 PM - 11 PM
Monday 12 Noon - 7 PM
