Where to See Fireworks in Michigan This 4th of July
Last year at this time, we were dealing with the cancelation of fireworks displays across the state of Michigan. Thankfully, that is not the case this year.
There are plenty of fireworks displays to see in mid-Michigan and north. Here's a list of some displays in the area and in northern Michigan, including some amazing displays you can watch from the state's beaches. Obviously, this list doesn't include every display in the state but it does include some of the closest ones to us and some of the best to the north.

Thursday, July 1:
- Bay City: From Wenonah Park at 10:12 p.m.
- Chesaning: Showboat Park at dusk
- Bay City: From Wenonah Park at 10:12 p.m.
- Lexington: Lexington Harbor at 9:30 p.m.
- St. Helen: From the Saint Helen Airport about 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 3:
- Au Gres: Corner of Court St & South St near the Au Gres Water Tower at dusk
- Bay City: From Wenonah Park at 10:12 p.m.
- Caseville: From Caseville Beach at dusk
- Cass City: From Cass City Park at dusk
- Frankenmuth: Heritage Park 10:05pm
- Harrison: From the Clare County Fairgrounds at dusk
- Houghton Lake: From Houghton Lake State Airport at 10 p.m.
- St. Louis: In downtown St. Louis at 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 4:
- Alpena: Mich-E-Ke-Wis park at dusk
- Boyne City: Over Lake Charlevoix at dusk
- Breckenridge: Downtown Breckenridge at dusk
- Clio: Shot off from Clio City Park at 10:15 p.m.
- Corunna: At McCurdy Park at dusk
- Flint: Atwood Stadium starting around 9:40 p.m.
- Indian River: Devoe Beach near the Burt Lake State Park at dusk
- Lapeer: From Rolland-Warner Middle School at 10 p.m.
- Mackinaw City: Conkling Heritage Park at dusk (largest fireworks display in Northern Michigan)
- Mackinac Island: Boardwalk and Windermere Point, west side of the island at 10p
- Midland: From Dow Diamond at dusk
- Port Austin: At Port Austin State Harbor at 9:30 p.m.
- Saginaw: From Ojibway Island at dusk
- Sanford: Midland County Sanford Lake Park at 10 p.m.
- Tawas Bay: waterfront parks along the Lake Huron shoreline or along the state dock at the East Tawas State Harbor at dusk
- Torch Lake: Cancelled for 2021
