Frame 42 is set to rock The Machine Shop in Flint on Friday, May 19 along with V*A*S*E and Heat Above.

Back in March, Frame 42 released a new song called "Thicker Than Blood" which was produced by legendary producer, Tob Wright (Kiss, Alice in Chains, Ozzy, Slayer, Korn).

Singer Ava Morris talked with Maggie Meadows from Banana 101.5 about the meaning behind the song.

'Thicker Than Blood' is a really cool song about loving someone after they’re gone, something that I think a lot of people resonate with.

I got the idea for the lyrics while driving by a restaurant with my friend. I saw a guy and a girl share an awkward hug and go their separate ways. I started to create stories in my head about what could have happened between the two of them and wrote lyrics around them.

They ended up fitting perfectly with the instrumental behind what would come to be known as ‘Thicker Than Blood’.
