Grand Blanc Football Coach Dies After Weekend Car Crash

Grand Blanc football coach Pat Mullaly passed away on Sunday after being involved in a serious car accident over the weekend.

Not a lot of details about the accident have been released aside from the information that was posted on the team's Twitter and Facebook accounts.

"With a heavy heart, I’m saddened to pass along this news...
During the battle of life, certain Warriors are called to lead. God has chosen Coach Pat Mullaly to lead a team of warriors in heaven. We all know what type of leader those warriors will have leading them on the field in Coach Pat! To all the warriors up in heaven... I can hear Coach Pat from the sideline giving them the play call, “Atlanta Atlanta Atlanta!" Funeral arrangements are forthcoming. At this time we ask for prayers of support and strength."

Regardless of how this tragic accident happened, it was a major loss the students and players of Grand Blanc and the community.
