I-75 Closing in Both Directions Tonight in Oakland County

Traveling around the Oakland County area this weekend is going to take a bit longer than normal.

Plan ahead and be sure to give yourself plenty of extra time is you are heading to Detroit from Flint over the weekend. The Michigan Department of Transportation will be closing I-75 in both directions starting tonight at 11 pm. The closures will happen in Oakland County in the I-75 Business Loop. That means that you will not be able to take 75 northbound or southbound between I-696 and Square Lake Road.

During the closure of the highway, traffic will be rerouted onto Woodward Avenue. While closed road crews will demolish the Dallas Avenue overpass and finish up some pavement repairs in the area.
