At a recent show in Grand Rapids, Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody spotted a fan wearing a Machine Shop shirt and then mentioned that the band needs to go back to the world-famous venue in Flint.

The band was performing at the new Acrisure Amphitheater with Cody Jinks and Detroit's own Eva Under Fire.

As you will see in the video below, courtesy of Chelcee Suchecki, Moody mentions that the band should play two back-to-back nights at The Machine Shop before suggesting that they could play three nights.

How cool is that?

It’s so awesome to see that The Machine Shop isn’t just a favorite among music fans, but that the bands who perform there love the venue just as much. This past June, at Download Festival in the United Kingdom, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm said that The Machine Shop is her favorite venue in the world.

March 2027 will mark the 25th anniversary of The Machine Shop, a testament to owners Kevin Zink and Johanna Hoelzle, along with the entire crew who have helped make the venue what it is today.

From legendary bands to some of today’s biggest names, The Machine Shop has given us countless great shows right here in Flint, Michigan, with many more to come.
