Mystery in the Woods: 6 Bigfoot Sightings Near Michigan
According to reports cited by MLive, six alleged Bigfoot sightings have been reported in northeastern Ohio near the Michigan border in recent days. Between March 6 and March 11, 2026, witnesses claimed to have encountered the creature in wooded areas of Portage County and Trumbull County, just outside Cleveland. The reports describe large, dark, human-like figures moving through the forests, though no verified physical evidence has been found.
One witness reported seeing a nine-foot-tall, brown-haired Sasquatch standing in a field in broad daylight at 12:23 p.m. Another individual claimed to have observed a massive black shadow, estimated to be between eight and ten feet tall, on March 11, 2026. In another report on March 9, a witness said a six-foot-tall brown figure ran through the woods with an unusually long stride around 6 p.m.

In an era where nearly everyone carries a cell phone, it’s surprising that none of the six witnesses captured a photo or video.
