Every year a few more toys are added to the Toy Hall of Fame. Yes, there actually is a Toy Hall of Fame located in The Strong National Museum of Play, located in Rochester, New York.

The inductees for 2022 included the top, Lite-Brite, and the Masters of the Universe toys. You can get more information about this year's inductees and see all of the toys in the Toy Hall of Fame on their website.

What was the top holiday toy the year you were born? It is fun to look through the list of toys that were popular over the last 100 years. We remember -- and probably had -- so many of them. From things like the Raggedy Ann Doll to Lincoln Logs, Erector Sets, and the dangerous Chemistry Set. (Let's give every child flammables and explosives and a bottle of mercury to play with! What were they thinking?!)

And what was the most frustrating toy of all time? For me it was the Spirograph. Remember trying to carefully to get a beautiful design -- only to have that gear slip out of the teeth of the plastic ring and ruin the whole thing!

Take a look through the list and find the toy that was the top holiday toy the year you were born. The year I was born it was the Easy Bake Oven. Let's make brownies and cook them with a light bulb! Your brownies will be ready in 5 hours. I'm not sure if the light bulb actually cooked them -- or the water in the brownie batter just evaporated over time.
