Longtime FOX 2 Detroit Personality Is Leaving After 10 Years
If you watch FOX 2 Detroit in the morning, you're going to notice a familiar face missing soon.
Kellie Rowe announced that she's leaving FOX 2 after 10 years with the station.
Rowe joined FOX 2 shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has done a little bit of everything over the years, including traffic, anchoring, sports, weather, and reporting. FOX 2 currently lists her as a traffic reporter on its morning news team.
When Is Kellie Rowe Leaving FOX 2 Detroit?

Rowe announced her departure this week, but as of right now, she hasn't publicly given an exact date for her final day at FOX 2.
She described the station as her home for the past decade and thanked viewers for allowing her to basically grow up in front of them.
Why Is Kellie Rowe Leaving FOX 2?
Rowe was pretty open about that part.
She said leaving wasn't an easy decision, but she knew it was time and admitted she has "some healing to do."
Her plan is to slow things down, reconnect with herself, and learn to appreciate a quieter life for a while.
She also made it clear this isn't really goodbye. So while her time at FOX 2 is coming to an end, it sounds like we haven't seen the last of Kellie Rowe.
I've never met Kellie, but I see her pretty much every day since I have FOX 2 on every morning while I'm getting ready for work. She always comes across as a very calm, cool, and genuinely sweet person.
It's too bad she's leaving, but it sounds like she's doing what she feels is right for her, and you can't really argue with that.
