After a horribly embarrassing incident where singer Caleb Followill was allegedly too drunk to finish their show in Texas last week, Kings of Leon have canceled the remainder of their U.S. tour schedule and many believe that the band itself may be canceled soon enough.

Shortly after the news of the debacle that was the Kings of Leon show in Austin, Texas last Thursday went viral, the band's representation made the following statement:

"We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire U.S. tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break."

Many believe that this entire scenario is so embarrassing that it will cause the band to break up. The band's bassist Jared Followill made it clear that isn't going to happen on Twitter, saying:

"I’m utterly depressed, but it’s completely out of my hands. Family has to come first. If bass solos and backing vocals were more popular I’d be there. I’m not going to stop working – I’m going to spend the time writing songs and looking to the future. Don’t jump to conclusions, guys. We’re not breaking up."

The band is set to reconvene for a Canadian tour which will start September 28th in Vancouver.
