Lapeer County Man Shot Through Window

This is bizarre, to say the least.

The Lapeer County Sheriff's Department is investigating after an unidentified man was shot in the shoulder this past Tuesday, September 4th at roughly 11:40 pm. The strange part is the man was inside of his home, in his bedroom when he was struck. The bullet came through a window. There were other people in the home located near Wilder and Peppermill Roads, but luckily no one else was injured.

The 49-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. As of now, there have been no arrests. If you have any information that could help in the investigation, please contact the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department at (810)245-1382.
