MI Restaurants, Wedding Venues, Excited For Looser Restrictions
Thinking back to a year ago, I sometimes wonder how we all got through what we did. March and April in 2020, I am sure you remember, most of us did not even leave the house because of COVID19, I never watched so much TV in my life. I also remember all the weddings being canceled, and how upset soon-to-be brides and grooms were. It was such a tough time for Bars and Restaurants as well, and sad when some had to close. Well, better days are here my friends.

Getting Back To Normal In Michigan
According to fox47news.com Michigan's plan on everything opening up and getting back to normal is looking so much better as of late last week. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says we are moving toward ending many COVID-19 related restrictions. On June 1st, all outdoor gathering restrictions will be coming to a close, and indoor gatherings will be at 50% capacity. Then, on July 1st, the face masks and gatherings order will be lifted. Seems every day we get a little more good news. So many businesses are now excited to head into summer with concerts, weddings, and many more activities that are starting to increase.
250 weddings a year we do here. And you’ve got brides calling every day wondering hows something changed, has something changed," Paul Wegert, the managing director at The Inn at St. John's, said.
Weddings Seem To Be Coming Back
A friend of mine has been in the wedding business for over 30 years and offers services like wedding DJs and officiating. Last year he had to cancel everything he had booked and it was devastating for him. Many couples will not rebook because they went another route like eloping. Some brides are excited to rebook a new date in 2021 and 2022. So happy he is starting to recover like many businesses.
