The Girl Scouts are introducing an exciting new cookie flavor for the 2026 cookie season.

With the arrival of a new cookie, there’s also some bittersweet news: two flavors are being retired. As expected, S’mores and Toast-Yay! will be leaving the Girl Scout cookie lineup.

What new flavor is the Girl Scouts introducing for 2026?

Cue the drum roll, introducing the newest Girl Scout cookie: Exploremores.

According to USA Today, Exploremores were inspired by rocky road ice cream. The sweet treat is described as a sandwich cookie with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème.

Count me in.

When do Girl Scout cookies go on sale for the 2026 season?

Girl Scout cookie season runs from January through April. If you don’t personally know a Girl Scout, keep an eye out for local cookie booths or order your favorite cookies online.

Someone you work with probably has a Girl Scout at home, so don’t be surprised if an order form appears in the break room in the new year.

Interested in the complete lineup of cookies? Here are the other Girl Scout cookie flavors available during the 2026 season.

  • Caramel Chocolate Chip (Gluten-free)
  • Caramel deLites/Samoas
  • Adventurefuls
  • Do-si-dos (Peanut Butter Sandwich)
  • Thin Mints
  • Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs
  • Lemonades
  • Lemon-Ups
  • Toffee-tastic

While I will manage just fine without S’mores and Toast-Yay!, I am very happy that both Tagalongs, Lemon-Ups, and Caramel deLites are sticking around for the 2026 season.

I will certainly be trying the new Exploremores as well.
