The Michigan Department of Natural Resources along with the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance hopes that this free event will let participants achieve a goal of logging 100,000 miles collectively during the week. These miles and badges can be logged in multiple different ways. You'll get your first badge once your register here and log one mile. After that, you can do the following to earn more badges:

  • Horseback ride for five miles.
  • Walk, run, or hike for five miles.
  • Bike for ten miles.
  • Paddle for two miles.

It is very easy to sign up for, I just did it myself and it only took a couple of minutes. I am actually looking forward to this as I have been needing a reason to get motivated and exercise. I have put on way too much weight since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am probably and my heaviest I have ever been. All I have done is be lazy and eat all the food, it's terrible. This gives me the reason to pull the bike down off the wall and air up the tires. If you want to join, click here and register.
