There's aren't very many "challenges" that I want to get behind but one that involves simply being nice and leaving a fat tip...well, I'm all about that.

With hopes of not repeating what we dealt with in 2020, there's an internet challenge that's been circulating and its main goal is to simply make someone smile. Well, that and load their pockets with a bunch of extra cash. It's called the '2021 Just Be Nice Challenge.' The idea is to give out tips worth $2,021. Obviously, not everyone can afford to drop that kind of cash so some people opt to leave a $20.21 tip. I guess you could get creative and come up with your own variation if you'd like.

According to MLive, the 2021 version (there's also a 2020 version) of the challenge kicked off this week with a waitress at the JW Filmore in Petoskey and a waitress at a Florida restaurant receiving the tips.

The Petoskey waitress donated part of her tip to charity and used the rest for bills.

Apparently, the challenge was started by a couple in Alpena in the earlier part of 2020. Back in February, a waitress working at Capital Coney in Flint was one of the first to receive one of the generous tips.

It would be really cool to see something like this take-off, the only problem is that we can't dine in at bars or restaurants at the moment. If I'm dropping a couple grand tip, I'd like to a least have a nice sit-down meal with some drinks first.
