Michigan’s Two Free ORV Weekends Scheduled for June and August
If you are looking to hit the trails and save some money, the free ORV weekends have been scheduled.
Despite angry weather patterns and rough roads, Michigan is definitely one of the best places to live. There are so many activities to take part in and enjoy and a lot of them you can do for free. If you are into hitting the trails in your ORV, every year you can find a couple of weekends in Michigan where it won't cost you to do that.
The Free ORV Weekends for 2021 have been scheduled for June 12th and 13th and August 21st and 22nd. On these weekends, both residents and out-of-state guests can enjoy the rides for free. Michigan boasts over 3,800 miles of DNR-designated routes and trails and six scramble areas in the state which include St. Helen's Motorsport Area, Black Lake Scramble Area, Holly Oaks ORV Park, Silver Lake State Park, Bull Gap, and The Mounds. ORV enthusiasts will be able to hit all over these places without having to buy an ORV license or trail permit.
There is also a little added bonus for the weekend in June as that same weekend is also Summer Free Fishing Weekend. So not only will you not have to pay for the ORV license, but you will also save money on that pesky fishing license as well.
