For the past few years, we've experienced warmer-than-normal weather leading up to Halloween. Then, when Halloween hits, the temperature plummets. Not only does the temperature drop, but trick-or-treaters have also braved blowing snow while going door to door in some years. I don't think that's going to be the case this year.

Originally, forecasters were telling us that we might see record temps on Halloween this year. However, it's not looking that way anymore. It’s Michigan, after all—we wouldn’t expect anything else.

As of writing this article, The Weather Channel is predicting temps around 66°F with a chance of rain. Of course, that could change by tomorrow. I mention that because yesterday, they were forecasting temps in the low 70s for Halloween, and it's already changed. Either way, it should be a decent night if the rain holds off.

When Was the Warmest Halloween on Record in Michigan?

The coldest Halloween on record was in 1988 when the temperature dropped to 20°F.
