NetherRealm Studios has released a Fatality-filled launch trailer for Mortal Kombat X, directed by System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian and featuring their hit song, "Chop Suey."

This new trailer for Mortal Kombat X really sets the tone for all of the blood-filled, high-octane action we'll get to play next week. The video shows off not only a bunch of fatalities, but also a few different combos that the characters can do. We also get a look at the game's plot from the trailer as well. We get a little snapshot of the four-armed character you'll get for pre-ordering the game, Goro, in his bone-crunching glory. If you want to see more of Goro, you can also check out his new trailer. We have to applaud Odadjian for the excellent job he did with NetherRealm Studios in putting this trailer together.  If you're curious about what characters you will be able to play in the upcoming game, NetherRealm Studios recently put out a new Kombat Kast video that showcased the entire roster of fighters and revealed the fighting styles of Kenshi and Sonya Blade.

Remember, if you want to get Goro on your roster, you'll need to pre-order Mortal Kombat X before it comes out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 14 along with a card-based, mobile tie-in game for iOS and Android formats. The game will also come out on June 2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
