Slash's last album featured all kinds of guest vocalists from Chris Cornell and Ozzy to Fergie and because of that (well maybe not because of Fergie) was one of my favorites from last year. Next spring will see the release of his sophomore solo outing but this time just one man will tackle the vocal duties.

While on the road in support of the first disc Slash only had one vocalist, Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy. The two got along so well, Slash decided he wants to do the a whole record with him behind the mic. Slash recently spoke to Planet Rock about the upcoming solo project:

"Myles and I have been writing all throughout the tour so we've got a lot of material, and at this point we're probably gonna start a little bit of pre-production in June and then do the tour in July. In September we're going to [do more] pre-production and the album is slated to come out in March or April."

Now that Myles has some other things going on outside of Alter Bridge I hope that doesn't mean we'll have to suffer through another Creed record.
